Information About The Department
The department offers undergraduate program of BE (Information Technology). This program was started in the year 1999.The intake capacity for the program is 60.The department is spread across two floors in the K B Joshi building.
The first batch graduated in the year 2003. Over last five years, the final year results are above 95 percent with 19 rank holders in the University.
Since 2003 the industries like Google, Cisco, IBM, HP, Infosys, Wipro, TCS have absorbed our students. Almost 70% of the students are placed every year through Campus Recruitment.
The college has a MoU with Perdue University for Masters program. The first student to get the admission for this program was from IT department. In addition to this, our students are also absorbed by other Universities like Florida, Carnegie Mellon, Texas etc.
