SUBJECT:-INAUGURAL FUNCTION OF GARNISHING TALENT BATCH-3

On the day of 20-jan-2014 the inaugural function Of Garnishing Talent Batch-3 session was organized at K.B Joshi auditorium . The spark lights of the evening were the dignitaries of Eaton Company, CII, MKSSS and Cummins College. Mr Nitin Chalke, Managing Director-India Eaton Technologies Pvt Ltd, Mr Rajeev Bhide, Chairman, CII Pune & Managing Director, Elantas Beck India Ltd, Guest of honor Dr Uma Ganesh, Chief Executive Officer, Global Talent Track Pvt Ltd, Mr Neil Castelino, Deputy Director & Head CII Pune, Mr. Vishwas Deval, Chairman, Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha, Ms Madhuri Khambete, Principal Cummins College of Engineering for Women.

The inaugural function began with the re genesis, communication skills. Experiences shared by the dignitaries highlighted on the significance of communication power and corporate mannerism. Good Communication skills, networking skills, mannerisms and etiquttes are the need of the hour for a good placement and all spheres to grow.

Dr. Uma Ganesh focused on the growing importance and usage of social media and social networking for updating oneself. Mr. Nitin Chalke and other dignitaries too highlighted broadly about the transit from college to corporate and skills required for this transit.

The Guests were felicitated with potted plants by the students of Garnishing Talent Program, Batch -3.This year the program concentrates on Second year and Third Year students from Instrumentation, IT, Computer , E &TC , Mechanical Engineering. 103 students would be benefitted from this program. Sessions would cover topics like Communication skills, Grooming, GD/PI, Career management, Signals and a few more. The session would be conducted on every Friday and Saturday in K.B. Joshi Auditorium from 25th Jan 2014 to 12th March 2014 in two batches.

Mentors from Eaton will facilitate the sessions. Role Model sessions will be conducted by Eaton mentors, CII and Cummins Alumna.
