Under Graduate Programme

Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.)

Four Years academic programme offered to award degree of  B. Tech. 

• Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha’s Cummins College of Engineering For Women is approved by AICTE and affiliated to   ‘ Savitribai Phule Pune University ’.
• College follows admission rules laid down by  ‘Government of Maharashtra ‘ & ‘Admission Regulating Authority’

Honor Degree Programme

• Honor Degree programme is a full time two years academic undergraduate degree programme offered by respective departments.
• Students of a particular department can complete this degree as a UG degree with specialization.

Minor Degree Programme

• Minor Degree programme is a full time two years academic undergraduate degree programme.
• Students from any department are eligible to complete a Minor degree program.

Post Graduate Programme: Master of Technology (M. Tech.)

Full Time Two Years academic programmes offered to award degree of  M. Tech.

Special features of M.Tech Programme -Mechanical

Curriculum: Two years course comprises of one year of class curriculum and one year of internship/project. Courses offered under M. Tech Mechanical Engineering are Research Methodology and Statistical Techniques, Advanced Mechanics of Solids, Optimization Methods, Finite Element Analysis, Applied Data Science for Mechanical Engineering, Advanced Mechanical Vibrations, Advanced Machine Design, Design of Electric Vehicle System, Industrial Robotics, Open Elective (Intellectual Property Rights / Organisational Behaviour), and Programme Elective (Product Design for Manufacturing and Assembly/ Manufacturing and Mechanics of Composite Materials) etc.

Internships: Internships of one year in industry/research project with stipend in companies like Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), DRDO – Armament Research and Development Establishment, Tata Motors, ANSYS, Cummins India, SKF Bearings, Atlas Copco India, Emerson Innovation Centre, Metalsa India Pvt. Ltd., Schindler India, Lear India Engineering LLP, Faurecia India, Rolls Royce, MG Motors, Volvo Group Trucks Technology, etc.

Placements: In companies like Cummins India, Gabriel India (Anand Group), Michelin, Tata Autocomp, Schindler, General Electrical, Whirlpool, Mahindra & Mahindra, Boeing, Alstom, etc.

Eligibility for Admission: Non-zero GATE score (Stipend for qualified GATE score) and B.E./B.Tech.in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, and allied. (20% sponsored seats for working professionals)

Doctoral Programme : Doctor of Philosophy ( Ph. D.)

For Ph. D College follows admission rules laid down by the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
