Special features of M.Tech Programme – Mechanical
Curriculum: Two years course comprises of one year of class curriculum and one year of internship/project. Courses offered under M. Tech Mechanical Engineering are Research Methodology and Statistical Techniques, Advanced Mechanics of Solids, Optimization Methods, Finite Element Analysis, Applied Data Science for Mechanical Engineering, Advanced Mechanical Vibrations, Advanced Machine Design, Design of Electric Vehicle System, Industrial Robotics, Open Elective (Intellectual Property Rights / Organisational Behaviour), and Programme Elective (Product Design for Manufacturing and Assembly/ Manufacturing and Mechanics of Composite Materials) etc.
Internships: Internships of one year in industry/research project with stipend in companies like Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), DRDO – Armament Research and Development Establishment, Tata Motors, ANSYS, Cummins India, SKF Bearings, Atlas Copco India, Emerson Innovation Centre, Metalsa India Pvt.
